Tottenham have received a take it or leave it £86million offer from Bayern Munich for striker Harry Kane.

Kane has just one year left on his contract and is not prepared to pen fresh terms in his desire to win silverware.

And according to Sky Germany, Spurs have received an £86m offer from Bayern – including potential add-ons for their prized asset.

But it remains to be seen whether Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will sanction a sale – despite the centre-forward valued at around £100m.

Tottenham have been told to respond by midnight on Friday but talkSPORT understands Spurs are unfazed by the deadline.

The two clubs have been locked in talks regarding Kane for weeks, with Bayern executives flying to London on Monday to thrash out a deal.

However negotiations haven’t progressed, leading the Bundesliga champions to set a deadline of midnight to Spurs.

Should they fail to accept their demands, they will walk away from the transfer and pursue alternative targets.

And even though Spurs would then run the risk of losing him for nothing next year, they are understood to be unfazed by the prospect.

Should Spurs reluctantly accept an £86m proposal from Bayern, it would shatter their previous club-record signing.

Bayern forked out £68m on French defender Lucas Hernandez from Atletico Madrid in 2019 – almost £20m less than what they are willing to pay for Kane.

Tuchel’s side have already had an offer of £70m knocked back by Spurs for their all-time top scorer.

It is believed that Kane is open to a new adventure abroad, with his wife reportedly spotted looking round houses in Munich last month.

And it is understood that should Kane fail to secure a move away before the start of the new season, he would then see out his contract in north London.

He would then be able to sign a pre-agreement with Bayern – or any other European side outside of the UK – in the winter transfer window.
