Middlesbrough’s starting lineup features Isaiah Jones and Sammy Silvera in today’s match.

For today’s Championship game at Coventry City, Michael Carrick has made two alterations from the previous weekend’s loss to Millwall.

Both the alterations come in the wide-attacking positions, with Isaiah Jones and Sammy Silvera getting the nod to start at the CBS Arena.

The pair both scored in Boro’s midweek Carabao Cup win at Huddersfield, and are rewarded with their first league starts of the season.

The duo’s promotion to the starting line-up means Marcus Forss and Riley McGree both drop out of the side that kicked off against Millwall.

Jonny Howson remains on the bench after being a substitute in Boro’s opening two matches. with Josh Coburn also named on the bench.

However, there is no place in the squad for Chuba Akpom amid mounting speculation over his future.

Lens, Sheffield United and Ajax are all currently involved in talks aimed at signing Akpom.
