The 25-year-old was a decent performer in both halves and deserves credit for averaging 2.0 tackles, 1.1 interceptions, 0.6 clearances, 0.9 shots, 1.2 key passes and 0.6 dribbles per game in the Premier League. Luiz is a solid tackler of the ball and can scan the danger quickly to make a few timely interceptions for his team in the middle of the park. He usually puts his foot through the ball when needed and is also a tidy passer of the ball.
