Full Aston Villa squad available to Unai Emery ahead of Liverpool as four ruled out

Aston Villa is optimistic that they will be able to rely on Emiliano Martinez when they take on Liverpool this afternoon at 2pm.

Emiliano Martínez: it never is too late - Deeper Sport

Last week’s 3-0 Europa Conference League play-off victory over Hibernian and the Villans’ 3-1 victory over Burnley were both marred by Martinez’s absence. He has been dealing with a right calf issue.

Martinez trained on Friday, according to Unai Emery, but the outcome of the session on Saturday would determine whether or not he would be ready for the match. Jacob Ramsey and Alex Moreno are both currently healing from separate injuries in other places.

Leander Dendoncker, on the other side, might make a comeback after missing four games overall.

Before facing Aston Villa, Jurgen Klopp has the complete Liverpool roster at his disposal.
