As a result, Elanga had little choice but to seek a transfer elsewhere, opting for a £15 million move to Nottingham Forest in July.

 

Elanga followed the wishes of United fans, many of whom would not be surprised if Elanga became a celebrity.

Elanga must combine all of his abilities to succeed, but Ferdinand hopes his ‘purple patch’ for Forest continues.
