After Nottingham Forest’s departure, Jesse Lingard’s transfer hijacking scheme was discovered.
The latest Nottingham Forest news is that former Red Jesse Lingard is allegedly close to joining Premier League rivals Wolves.
Jesse Lingard, a former Nottingham Forest forward, is getting interest from two Premier League clubs.
Forest released the 30-year-old at the end of last season, and he has yet to find a new club. Because he is a free agent, he was not required to sign a contract before the transfer deadline, therefore clubs can still sign him.
Lingard spent much of the summer practicing alone as reports linked him to Saudi clubs. However, he has recently been practicing with previous club West Ham, where coaching staff have hinted at a deal.
However, Sky Sports reports that Wolves are “showing an interest” in the ex-England international. They may make him an offer in the coming days, according to reports.
Lingard said on Instagram after departing Forest in May, “Thank you to everyone from the fans to all the backroom staff and of course the players.” It’s been a wild ride, but we persevered through thick and thin to reach our objective. It’s been an honor.”

Lingard made 17 Premier League appearances for Forest last season, failing to produce a single goal or assist. In three EFL Cup games, he did score twice and set up another two.
