An addition to Liverpool In a friendly match on Friday, the Reds’ under-18 team defeated Southend United 10-0 thanks to three goals from Trey Nyoni.
New signing Trey Nyoni scored a hat-trick on his first home outing for Liverpool as the under-18s romped to a friendly triumph over Southend United.

Marc Bridge-Wilkinson’s young Reds racked up double figures as they won 10-0 in the practice match at the Academy in Kirkby on Friday.
Highly-rated midfielder Nyoni, who turned 16 in June and is an England U16 international, arrived from Leicester City last month and made his debut along with fellow new arrival, centre-back Amara Nallo, in the 6-1 Premier League Cup defeat at Crystal Palace last weekend.
His treble against Southend was added to by braces from Ranel Young – who was playing his first game of the season – Kareem Ahmed and Afolami Onanuga, with Wellity Lucky also scoring.
“Trey got his first goals in a red shirt, he will take a lot from that, and it was great to have Ranel back. Fair play to Southend United as well. They never gave up even with the high scoreline, they kept working hard and we thank them for coming to Kirkby.”
