Liverpool fans adore England’s 26-year-old forward, whom Klopp has previously described as ‘unbelievable.’

Liverpool have been keeping an eye on West Ham United attacker Jarrod Bowen for a number of years.

This is according to a story from The Athletic, which examines the potential possibilities the Reds could pursue if Mohamed Salah leaves in one of the upcoming transfer windows.

Salah has, of course, been heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia in recent weeks. According to The Athletic, Al-Ittihad is preparing a new move next year.

Liverpool remain admirers of Jarrod Bowen

Jarrod Bowen is one of the names Liverpool has on their radar if Salah leaves. According to The Athletic, Jurgen Klopp’s team is a big fan of the England international. And the 26-year-old has been on their radar for some time.

Bowen is undoubtedly one of the Premier League’s most underappreciated forwards. He’s had a fantastic start to the season, scoring three goals in their first four league games.

He’s well on his way to enjoying his greatest Premier League season yet. Since the start of the 2021/22 season, he has scored 34 goals in all competitions.

Perhaps the Liverpool hierarchy has some reservations about his age. Liverpool does not typically spend large sums on players over the age of 26. Bowen will turn 27 before the end of the year.

West Ham will not let him go cheaply, either. He’s been crucial since his arrival from Hull City. Jurgen Klopp has called him ‘unbelievable’ in the past.

According to Transfermarkt, he is under contract until 2025. So that may assist open the door if he decides not to extend his contract at the London Stadium.

Bowen, on the other hand, is certainly enjoying his football right now. So, if Liverpool decides to pursue their interest with a bid, West Ham will not make the process easy.
