Players are advised to quit Tottenham because of the “unhealthy environment” there and the club’s “downward trajectory” for their careers.

The Croatian international played a regular role at Spurs under Antonio Conte, but under Ange Postecoglou, he is now only used as a substitute. In five games this season, he has logged 159 minutes.

Tomislav Dasovi, a journalist for Veernji List, is not happy with the 34-year-old’s circumstances at Tottenham and has asked him to leave the team.

Perii hasn’t scored in his last nine international contests and has only once since joining Spurs.

The player’s playing time [2021/22 season] at Spurs and Inter Milan is compared by the journalist, who also notes how it has decreased after Conte departed the north London club.

The Croatian won numerous championships when playing for Bayern Munich and Inter, whereas Spurs haven’t taken home a trophy since 2008.

Dasovi claims that the attacker’s career has suffered since joining Tottenham since he is “missing minutes, goals, and trophies” there.

With 10 points after four games, Postecoglou’s team is off to a strong start this year.

Despite this, Dasovi asserts that Tottenham is a team on a “downward trajectory” and that things are “unstable” there. The journalist continues by saying that Perii “needs a new challenge elsewhere” immediately since Spurs “is not a healthy environment” for him.
