£3m player tops chart after impressive start: Nottingham Forest’s highest-rated starting XI this season………….

Under head coach Steve Cooper, Nottingham Forest has made a strong start to the current campaign, with numerous new additions already having a noticeable influence.

How does the rest of the Forest team compare? According to FotMob, defender Willy Boly has the highest average rating of the Reds at 7.28.

Here is the starting lineup for the Reds’ Premier League lineup with the best average rating among players who have appeared three or more times this season.

After moving to the City Ground in the summer, the 29-year-old has made a solid impression, recording two clean sheets in his first eight Premier League contests.

The 32-year-old has the highest average of any player in the Forest thus far this season, as was already mentioned. He has improved his performances, making the £2.85 million he received from Wolves last summer seem like a fantastic steal.

Scott McKenna may have been a surprise starter, but he has the Reds’ fifth-highest average of any player so far this season thanks to strong showings against Chelsea and Sheffield United.

Despite playing out of position for the overwhelming bulk of his career at the club, the 26-year-old joined the Reds this summer on a free transfer and has turned out to be an excellent addition.

The club-record acquisition appears to be gradually demonstrating his value to the Nottingham Forest group. With his vast range of passing when in possession, he is beginning to display his ball-winning skills.

Although he’s missed the last four games through injury, the Brazilian midfielder enjoyed a good start to the new campaign, picking up where he left off at the end of last season.

The 22-year-old made an immediate impression upon arriving at the City Ground by scoring against Burnley. Since then, he has shown off his skill with the ball by dribbling directly at the opponents and creating issues wherever possible.
