The most recent Charlton Athletic team information as Michael Appleton’s club prepares for tomorrow’s League One match against Reading

The goal for Charlton Athletic this weekend against Reading is to keep their perfect record under Michael Appleton. From a possible 15 points, the Addicks have earned nine after winning two and drawing three League One matches.

The South London team has earned 15 points from 11 games, placing them in 14th place.

Reading’s problems off the field continue to have a significant effect there as well. The team of Ruben Selles is now in 22nd place with six points after having four points taken away for breaking financial regulations.

Panutche Camara will continue to sit out of the game as he works to regain his physical fitness, Appleton said in a press conference prior to kickoff.

Harry Isted, the goalkeeper, and Terry Taylor have been out for a while, but happily the returning international players are all present. Terell Thomas, James Abankwah, Michael Hector, and Karoy Anderson are among those mentioned.

It might be a mostly identical team for Charlton Athletic if no fresh injury setbacks occur. The back five will probably remain the same, with Sam Walker, a recent acquisition, sitting on the bench to cover for Ashley Maynard-Brewer in net.

Scott Fraser will be eager to join the team in midfield. He had two options: he could come in on the right flank, seeing Slobodan Tedic, Tyreece Campbell, and/or Chem Campbell named on the bench, or he could play in a more advanced central role with George Dobson sitting deep.

Miles Leaburn, a recent graduate of the Charlton Athletic Academy, might start alongside Alfie May up top. Chuks Aneke, though, will also be optimistic about starting.

Tomorrow afternoon, at 15:30, the match will begin.
