Updated Injury: Due to an injury, one of Leeds United’s top players won’t be able to take part in the forthcoming match.………………..

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has offered an update on Crysencio Summerville, who Everton is interested in signing.

Crycensio Summerville, a Leeds United attacker, allegedly turned down the opportunity to join Everton, Bournemouth, and Burnley during the most recent summer transfer window, according to a tweet from Fabrizio Romano.

However, as Romano noted, when the January transfer market opens, Premier League clubs may very well make another attempt to sign the 21-year-old.

Leeds United reportedly put a £10 million price tag on Summerville in the summer, according to Dutch publication 1908.nl.

It’s safe to say that the Yorkshire club was thrilled to keep the services of the Dutch under-21 international. In the second tier of English football this season, Summerville has been in excellent shape. The winger has notched up four goals and two assists in nine Championship games.

Therefore, it is not unexpected that premier league clubs appear prepared to attempt to lure the kid away from Elland Road in January. It will be interesting to watch if Everton rejoins the hunting party.

The Toffees recently did business with Leeds United since in the summer, Sean Dyche was successful in signing Jack Harrison on a loan. This shows that the two teams now have effective channels of contact, which may be helpful for Everton if they decide to pursue Summerville again.

He is unquestionably a “special player” who shown briefly during the previous season that he can contribute at the Premier League level. Given his youth, it seems reasonable to believe that Summerville’s best is yet to come.
