English striker Gem, who recently played for Arsenal, is wanted by Rangers, according to a report

Mason Cotcher, who recently played for Arsenal, is desired by Rangers.

According to the Sunderland Echo, Rangers is one of three clubs planning a move for Sunderland star Mason Cotcher.

On Monday, October 23, the newspaper published a story on its website stating that Premier League clubs Arsenal and Brighton are vying with the Gers for the services of the 17-year-old forward.

According to the report, the England youth international played this week for the Gunners’ U-18 team and can leave the Stadium of Light at any time for a transfer fee since he merely has a scholarship agreement.

Tough competition

There is no doubt that if Rangers want to acquire a deal for Cotcher, they will face stiff competition from Brighton and Arsenal.

After the forward had already played for their youth team, the Gunners appeared to have gained an advantage in the race to recruit him, indicating that both parties were considering the move.

As a result of moving to the Amex Stadium in recent years, a number of young players have significantly improved, providing the Seagulls another potentially excellent choice for the adolescent.

But if Cotcher wants to stay closer to home, the Gers could provide a quicker path to the first team than Premier League teams, and Glasgow is far closer to Sunderland than the other clubs.

It will be fascinating to watch how this one plays out, but it appears that the Light Blues might struggle to complete this agreement.
