Freddie Anderson signed his first professional deal with Stoke City on his 17th birthday.
The center defender, whose father, former England player Viv Anderson, turned 17 on Monday, joined the Potters this summer after spending nine years with Manchester City. He has drawn attention while playing for the under-18s under Dave Hibbert and Ryan Shawcross, and he recently earned his under-21s debut.
