Celtics are eager to play the Heat at home because “We’ve Got History”

At Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night, the Boston Celtics defeated the New York Knicks 108-104 to begin the 2023–24 season. They are now getting ready for the season’s opening game at TD Garden.

 

Al Horford said, “Friday night at the Garden, it doesn’t get any better than that,” following Thursday’s filming.

The team that eliminated the Celtics from the playoffs on their home court in the previous season is facing them in this meeting.

Horford told Inside The Celtics the following throughout their conversation on Friday’s game and whether there are any lessons from how the previous season concluded.

“I’m eager to get started at the Garden and perform in front of our supporters here at home. It’s clear that we’re unhappy with how the previous year came to a close. Although we’ve already discussed it, I’m eager to see what this group and we can accomplish tomorrow.”

In reference to the squad that Boston will be playing alongside in its home opener, Jaylen Brown stated following Friday’s shootaround, “A team that we’re super familiar with.” We have several playoff games against them. a group with which we have a history. Thus, we launch a new season tonight with the intention of setting the tone early.”

The hosts’ excellent health is helpful. There is no one on their injury report, just like on Wednesday night in New York.

Regarding Miami, Haywood Highsmith (knee) and Josh Richardson (foot) are sidelined. Caleb Martin (knee tendinitis), Jaime Jaquez Jr. (groin strain), and Duncan Robinson (foot sprain) are likely candidates.
