West Ham ‘ready’ to bid £35m for star who rejected…………

According to reports, West Ham United intends to offer Serie A powerhouse Juventus £35 million to sign Manuel Locatelli and move him to the Premier League.

Even though Declan Rice left, West Ham United’s midfield is perhaps better than ever in his absence thanks to the acquisition of Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse with their windfall of £100 million.

Under David Moyes, Alvarez and Ward-Prowse have excelled thus far. The former supplies a shield of protective steel, while the latter quickly whips in cunning set pieces.

Similar to Juventus’ Manuel Locatelli, West Ham…..

But Juventus is determined to bind the Euro 2020 champion to a new contract, so they won’t allow Locatelli leave without a struggle. Luckily for the Old Lady, after being rebuffed by Brighton during the summer, their former AC Milan and Sassuolo star looks to be inclined toward staying longer in Turin rather than looking for a fresh challenge elsewhere.

“The prospect of quitting was never really there. Stefano Castelnovo, Locatelli’s agent, tells Tuttosport that his client “never considered other destinations and always wanted to stay at Juventus.”

Both sides want to stay united going forward. We will then attempt to complete this (a new contract) when the time is right.

Italy’s star wants to remain with the Serie A powerhouses

Therefore, West Ham’s chances appear bleak. However, given the recent high-profile financial difficulties Juventus has had, there is no harm in giving it a shot.

However, Locatelli’s lifetime love for the Bianconeri should help Juventus’s chances of keeping him. Locatelli has always loved Juventus. He was so interested in Arsenal that, in 2021, he declined their advances to move from Sassuolo.

“The negotiations that led him to Juventus are still fresh in my memory.” It was a very long time for him,” the 25-year-old’s brother Mattia Locatelli remarked. Although he preferred Juventus, there was also Arsenal.
