Playmaking cornerback DaRon Bland of the Dallas Cowboys is making an impact every time he takes the field, helping to make up for Trevon Diggs’ absence. and cover elite cornerbacks in the NFL.
Despite leading the team in interceptions last season with five, many did not anticipate this kind of production from the former fifth-round choice. Bland caught his fourth pick–six of the season in Sunday’s victory over the Carolina Panthers, tying the NFL single-season record.
But Bland’s form doesn’t surprise Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy in the slightest.

Speaking candidly, his teammate Micah Parsons said that Bland is a reserved individual who usually takes a long to open up, but when he performs at a Pro Bowl caliber, the media spotlight will inevitably fall on him.
“You know, it comes with the territory, and I’m starting to feel a little more at ease with it, but it’s okay,” Bland remarked.
With seven games left, Bland has tied the record for the most pick-6s in a season. You can guarantee that he is growing more at ease with wanting the record to himself.
