Sad News:’ Brett Favre suffers three heavy injuries in…….

There is enough for the Green Bay Packers and Houston Texans to be happy about. C.J. Stroud appears to have been the Texans’ franchise quarterback, and Jordan Love is beginning to show signs of being the Packers’ quarterback as well. As the season nears its end, both clubs are battling for a spot in the playoffs.

A former Packers safety with 125 career starts was added by the Texans today.

Adrian Amos, a former Green Bay Packers safety, has signed with the Houston Texans.

As stated on Fansided’s Texans Daily:

On Sunday, the Houston Texans and the New York Jets will play at MetLife Stadium. Adrian Amos, a safety, was signed on Tuesday, giving them an advantage.

Jordan Schultz claims that Houston signed Amos prior to their Week 14 matchup with the inept Jets. Amos did not play in the 13-8 loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 13 since he was recently cut by New York.

Amos’s release was unexpected because he had given a strong performance. He has 19 solo tackles this season, and Pro Football Focus has given him an excellent defense rating of 72.7.

Amos should help the Texans get ready for the Jets’ formidable defense, which is third in the league in passing yards allowed per game (176.6). He should also give them depth and safety.

Amos Receives A New Beginning Following His Jets Tour

Amos was a dependable component of the secondary during his tenure with the Packers and Bears. After recording a career-high 102 tackles at the end of the 2022 season, he clearly has more left in him.

During his four years in Green Bay, Amos started all of the Packers’ regular season games. All 16 in 2019 and 2020 and all 17 in 2021 and 2022 were included in that. At the end of his time in Green Bay, he had 362 total tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 7 interceptions, and 1 fumble recovery.
