According to transfer insider Dean Jones, Roy Hodgson, the manager of Crystal Palace, will be departing Selhurst Park at the end of the 2023–2024 season. In an interview with GIVEMESPORT, Jones mentioned a possible successor that Palace is fond of.

In the summer, after agreeing to a one-year contract extension with his employers, Hodgson took over for stand-in Since the 76-year-old returned to the Eagles dugout, Palace has had a rough start to the season. Their supporters are already furious with them, even though it has been stated that a replacement has already been lined up.

Hodgson’s chances of staying at Palace are bleak

Neither Hodgson nor the team had anticipated this comeback to the starting position. The veteran coach, who was once in charge of England, has struggled to reproduce the same success this term, after getting a tune out of his players in the latter half of 2022–2023. This has raised concerns about his suitability.

The Telegraph has revealed that although Hodgson’s position at the team is now unfilled, the club does not fear being forced into a relegation battle at season’s end.
