The main idea was that the young Argentine could be sold to Serie A for the appropriate price, as they needed the money before the January transfer window.

On Wednesday, Corriere dello Sport elaborated on this, saying that Crystal Palace was now “ready to make a super offer” for the 20-year-old.

Everything is done through a middleman, who allegedly “offered” Soulé to the Eagles for €35 million “even now.”

With six goals in 14 appearances for Frosinone, the young player has been very impressive while on loan, and the fact that Crystal Palace is willing to pay that much is evidence of that. The proceeds from his sale would enable Juventus to acquire a player similar to Teun Koopmeiners.

The Serie A team, in need of new midfield players, has their sights set on the Dutchman and is prepared to “do as much as possible” to acquire him in January as opposed to the summer.
Money is needed for that, and selling Soulé to Crystal Palace would help immensely with that.
The Eagles appear prepared to put money on the table in the upcoming weeks, but first they need to see the money.
