America’s top sports city for 2023, ranked between…..

No matter who you ask, sports fans like to boast that they not only have the best teams but also the best fan bases in the country.

As subjective as the debate can get among sports enthusiasts, Wallethub tested this theory by looking at the best sports cities in America in 2023.

In order to rank more than 300 cities, the Miami-based personal finance organization collected data using criteria in the sports categories of football, basketball, baseball, soccer, and hockey.

Los Angeles, Boston, Pittsburgh, New York, and Dallas were among the top sports cities listed on Wallethub.
Los Angeles According to Wallethub, Los Angeles got the top spot in the rankings because of its renowned sports venues including the Staples Center, Dodgers Stadium, the Rose Bowl, and SoFi Stadium, as well as its rich sports culture and plenty of professional teams.

With a dazzling 38 championship titles among its five professional sports teams, Boston is ranked second on the list.

Because of the Boston Celtics’ success and popularity in the NBA, the city is recognized as the best place for hockey enthusiasts and as the second-best city for basketball fans.

The six-time Stanley Cup champion Boston Bruins are one of the top franchises in the NHL, with college hockey also playing a prominent role in the area’s sports landscape.

Boston is no. 1 and 2 in hockey and basketball. But the town has enjoyed success in the NFL, with the New England Patriots winning six Super Bowl championships to make Boston the No. 4 spot for football.

Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh is ranked first in football and third overall. In the NFL, the Patriots and the Pittsburgh Steelers are tied for the most Super Bowl victories.

Famous for the Steel Curtain defense, quarterback Terry Bradshaw’s exceptional play, and the appointment of Hall of Fame coach Chuck Noll, the Steelers are a historic team.

Dallas
Dallas, whose primary draw is football and the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys, rounds out the top 5. Dallas is ranked No. 3 in football, the only sport in which it is among the top 5

According to Wallethub, the city is ranked no. 262 for baseball but in the top 20 for basketball, soccer, and hockey. However, the Texas Rangers’ baseball team’s 2023 World Series victory could improve their standing in 2024.
