One of the Celtics’ best players may not be available for the contest because All-Star forward Jaylen Brown is listed as injured.

After 46 games, Brown has averaged 22.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.1 steals, and a 49.1% field goal percentage and 34.8% three-point percentage.

With a 37-12 record through 49 games, the Celtics hold the top seed in the Eastern Conference.

They have lost 7-3 in their last 10 games, most recently by a score of 114-105 against the Los Angeles Lakers (who are missing LeBron James and Anthony Davis).

During his 27 minutes of action, Brown shot 4/12 from the field and 0/3 from three-point range, finishing with eight points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and one steal.

With an 18-31 record through 49 games, the Grizzlies are currently the 13th seed in the Western Conference.

They have lost four straight games and have played 4-6 in their previous ten games.

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Grizzlies most recently, 121-101.

They’ll continue traveling after Boston to play the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night.

Jaylen Brown took part in practice on Tuesday after sitting out the team’s 131-91 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday—Marcus Smart’s first visit back to TD Garden—due to lower back tightness.

After that, he is not listed on the Boston Celtics’ initial injury report ahead of their game against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday. As a fill-in, Atlanta Hawks star guard Trae Young was selected for the All-Star Game. Kristaps Porzingis and Derrick White did not.

Returning to Wednesday’s game, though, one of the hosts’ starters is questionable as they get ready to welcome their 22-38 opponents, who are tenth in the Eastern Conference. The hosts are an NBA-leading 38-12 team.

Due to a right elbow sprain, the Celtics have listed two-time All-Star Jrue Holiday as questionable for the game.
