Lamar Jackson, the quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, is receiving more and more recognition as he has been named the NFL’s MVP for the second time by AP.

Days before the NFL Super Bowl was to be played, on February 8, Jackson was given the honor at Resort’s World in Las Vegas, according to The Associated Press. After taking home the trophy following the 2019 season, he has now left with it in his possession twice.

With 49 out of 50 first-place votes, he garnered nearly unanimous support, making his selection for MVP almost certain. Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, was the only other player to vote in first place. In the voting, he came in fifth place. Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott finished just behind Jackson in the voting, followed by 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy and running back Christian McCaffrey from theChristian McCaffrey 49ers in third and fourth place, respectively.

However, Jackson acknowledged that the opportunity to win a Super Bowl championship is the prize that has eluded him the most.

Jackson remarked, “I’d rather send in a video to win the award.” It’s an honor to be here for the award, but I’d much rather be in the Super Bowl.
