Sad news for the seagulls as 6 key players will miss match against..

Joao Pedro, a striker for Brighton, will not play against Tottenham this weekend.

After easily defeating Spurs earlier in the season, the Seagulls go to north London with the goal of moving back into the Premier League standings and into the European qualifying spots.

Pedro increased his goal total for the season to 19 in all competitions last weekend by scoring twice in the 4-2 victory and once more in the victory over Crystal Palace the previous weekend.

He won’t, however, play in Saturday’s game against Brighton since he is unsure of his return date.

At the news conference on Friday, assistant manager Andrea Maldera stated, “Unfortunately, [Pedro] has a hamstring injury.”

He underwent a scan this week in addition to one two days ago. We are not sure how many weeks he has had this condition. We wish to avoid taking a chance.

After returning from the Asian Cup, Kaoru Mitoma is expected to start for Brighton, although Solly March, James Milner, Julio Enciso, and Simon Adingra—who is in the Africa Cup of Nations—remain unavailable.

After undergoing “invasive” dental surgery, manager Roberto De Zerbi is not only barred from the dugout but is also battling to recover in time to assume his position in the stands.
After playing for Mali in the AFCON, Yves Bissouma will return to Spurs, while Heung-min Son is also back in the mix following the conclusion of his Asian Cup competition.
