Yankees Get Encouragement Regarding Young Star’s Injuries…..

Jasson Dominguez’s recuperation from Tommy John surgery is already going well.

A future star is expected back at the New York Yankees.

Yankees lose 4 impact players to season-ending injuries in a week

Jasson Dominguez, a 21-year-old center fielder, had a strong 2023 season before having Tommy John surgery. The group anticipates his summertime return, most likely around the All-Star break.

Recent information suggests that Dominguez might return sooner, though.

A collection of images from Tuesday’s team practice in Tampa were sent by beat reporter Bryan Hoch. One of the images featured Dominguez working out with team captain Aaron Judge while holding a ball and a glove. Talkin’ Yanks quickly reposted the image, and Hoch responded by quote-tweeting it along with an encouraging update.

According to Hoch, Dominguez will soon be playing catch in addition to shagging fly balls in the outfield. Dominguez should be able to use a bat by the end of camp.

The Yankees still anticipate Dominguez returning in the summer. However, since he is still a developing player, they won’t rush him back into action and will probably start him in MiLB in 2024.
