Coach Jim Montgomery of the Boston Bruins talks openly about his team’s overtime victory over…..

Head coach Jim Montgomery openly acknowledged his praise for the team’s tenacity after the Boston Bruins defeated the Edmonton Oilers 6-5 in overtime.

“I really liked how we never stopped moving forward. Montgomery informed the media, “We didn’t worry about what happened, positively or negatively,” demonstrating the team’s unshakeable mentality.

The Bruins took an early lead in this thrilling game, but the Oilers rallied in the third period. Montgomery accepted the Oilers’ comeback:

With goals from Morgan Geekie, Brad Marchand, Trent Frederic, Jake DeBrusk, and David Pastrnak, the Bruins’ lineup demonstrated depth and adaptability.Mason Lohrei, a rookie, made a substantial contribution with three assists. With 37 stops, goalie Jeremy Swayman contributed significantly to the team’s triumph. After suffering four straight losses, the Bruins managed to secure their second straight victory.

However, you also don’t want to place yourself in that scenario. We need to retrain ourselves to play consistently throughout the duration of the game because we have placed ourselves in that situation much too frequently since returning from the All-Star break.
The Oilers may use some of the lessons learned from the loss when they play the Minnesota Wild at Rogers Place on Friday.
