The 28-year-old Brittany Matthews Mahomes is a separate athlete. She attended the University of Texas at Tyler to play soccer before moving to Iceland to play professionally.
Brittany Mahomes started her own business and became a certified personal trainer after graduating from University of Texas at Tyler with a four-year bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. She co-owns the Kansas City Current, a professional women’s soccer team, with Angie Long and Chris Long, despite no longer being a professional player. Patrick Mahomes became a co-owner of the National Women’s Soccer League squad in January 2023, alongside his spouse.

They met in high school and have been dating since they were young
