SO SAD: Alex Jimenez to miss out on Real Madrid as injury is detected to be lifetime…

Alex Jimenez’s injury is thought to be permanent, therefore he will miss out on Real Madrid…

According to a source, Alex Jimenez will not be available for AC Milan’s matchup with parent club Real Madrid in today’s UEFA Youth League quarterfinal.

According to Jorge Picon of Relevo, Jimenez has a serious quadriceps injury and may not be able to play for the rest of the season. He will also miss today’s match against the team from which he is on loan.

The fact that the full-back will not be able to participate in what would have been an extremely memorable game makes him very unhappy. A few of his teammates and he had exchanged messages in the days leading up to Real Madrid’s visit to the PUMA House of Football.

The Spaniard, who made his senior debut in the Coppa Italia against Cagliari and has played 65 minutes in three Serie A games, has had a good start to the season. But it is not going to be a reunion with Los Blancos.

Though it’s unclear how the injury will effect Jiménez going forward, it doesn’t seem like anything will shift. Real has a buy-back option that enables them to retain some control over Jimenez’s future, but the management ‘love’ him and have the opportunity to purchase him permanently for €5 million.
