Dallas Police have filed an arrest warrant for NFL player Von Miller, as the Buffalo Bills star’s longterm girlfriend is accusing him of domestic abuse. Specifically, according to WFAA on Thursday morning, the superstar is expected to face charges of assault against a pregnant woman.

Miller’s girlfriend claims the attack happened at their Dallas home on Wednesday morning, according to sources who spoke with WFAA. The DeSoto native Miller, 34, who played football for Texas A&M and won Super Bowls with the Rams and Broncos, has been contacted by his attorney regarding the matter and the issuance of the warrant, according to the report.

Assaulting a pregnant person is a third-degree crime in Texas, and a guilty verdict carries a jail sentence ranging from two to ten years.

Currently playing linebacker for the Buffalo Bills, Miller is a well-liked NFL player who has established a career worthy of the Hall of Fame. Miller is back in his hometown of Dallas because they are currently on a bye.

A statement has now been released by the Bills:
