Luton Town attacker John McAtee has said he received a ‘concrete’ offer to move on from loan club Barnsley in January
JUST IN: The head coach of Luton Robert Owen Edwards announce to loan out luton attacker John McAtee just now.
Barnsley swooped to land the forward on a temporary basis last summer on a deal until the end of the season.
McAtee, 24, stayed put at Oakwell in the last transfer window despite interest from elsewhere.
He has said, as per a report by The Yorkshire Post: “I had a couple interested (in January) and one concrete (offer) that I turned down.
He added: “I really enjoy it here. I am not playing every minute, but I am playing most weeks and getting game time and it was a no-brainer. I spoke to Luton and they were happy with the progress I was making here.”
