Mo Salah “signs” a contract to depart from Liverpool as FSG chooses a low-cost A Serie A player as the “dream” substitute
Mohamed Salah, a prominent player for Liverpool, will be leaving Anfield this summer along with Jurgen Klopp, according to a former teammate who says “contracts have been signed” about the player’s future.
The Egyptian striker, who signed a lucrative £36.9 million contract with Roma in the summer of 2017, is considered by many to be among the top players in the Premier League. He has scored an incredible 205 goals in just 333 games. It is easy to argue that Liverpool would not have experienced the success they have without Salah leading their line and frightening opponents. Salah is the highest paid player at Anfield.
The 31-year-old’s £350,000-per-week contract on Merseyside is scheduled to expire in the summer of 2025, which presents a significant challenge for the Merseysiders about his future. Furthermore, considering the player’s great demand in Saudi Arabia—Al-Ittihad rejected a club-record £150 million offer last summer—he may be able to earn one of the highest salaries in all of sport.

Now, Salah has reportedly already reached an agreement to depart Liverpool this summer, according to Mido, a former star player for Egypt who is currently a popular pundit in his native country.
On X, the former attacker for Tottenham and Middlesbrough wrote: “Mohamed Salah will play in the Saudi League next season.”
“Signing of contracts has occurred.”
Although Mido did not say which club Salah will join, it is generally assumed that it would be Al-Ittihad, who had been Salah’s longtime suitor.
The Riyadh-based team is anticipated to make significant summer investments after falling a whopping 22 points behind Al-Hilal, the current league champions.

In terms of a Klopp replacement, TEAMtalk revealed on Wednesday that an approach has now been made to Xabi Alonso, who has been offered an initial three-year deal to succeed the German.
