Scheffler had a double bogey on his card for the second day in a row, but his four-under par 66 was good enough to tie David Skinns of England, Stephan Jaeger of Germany, Alejandro Tosti of Argentina, and Belgian Thomas Detry at the top of the leaderboard at nine-under 201.

At Memorial Park, Skinns had a 65 without bogey, Jaeger shot a four-under 66 with six birdies and two bogeys, Tosti recovered from an early double-bogey with five birdies in a two-under 68, and Detry shot a four-under 68 with four birdies and a bogey.
