WALA, Mobile, Alabama – The 14th annual Pancake Breakfast, organized by the Boys & Girls Club of South Alabama, was a flurry of activity at the Harmon-Thomas Community Center in Mobile.12TH ANNUAL OPTIMIST BOYS & GIRLS CLUB PANCAKE BREAKFAST

Angelia Crosby remarked, “Just to see everybody come out and that we’re growing every year.” You see people from all different age and racial backgrounds. It is incredible, in my opinion, and it is what we want to depict.

Attendees enjoyed a hearty meal that featured waffles, eggs, biscuits, sausages, and more.

Ethan Perryman declared, “I really liked it and it was delicious.”Jariah Rotschild remarked, “The eggs were good and I liked the grits.”

There were also a number of exhibitors, such as Stand Up Mobile, which provided opportunity to register to vote and practice using ballots.

Avery Perryman clarified, “You had to go in the booth and pick your favorite cookie.”

Jarnae Rothschild, a young attendee, came to show support for the Boys & Girls Club’s Kiwanis chapter. She said, “I came out here to support the Lady Bengals and the team because we won the state championship.”
The morning’s attractions included the Jarnae Rothschild, from the University of South Alabama and the Omega Lamplighters, as well as the heritage show.

Naturally, an Easter celebration wouldn’t be complete without the Easter Bunny himself paying a visit. Meeting the distinguished visitor delighted the two fortunate sisters. There was also a fun egg hunt at the event.

John Hughley stated, “My line brothers and I traveled from all over the country to support William and his 14th annual pancake breakfast.” “I find what he’s doing to be quite amazing.”
