SAD; Delaware State Police Are Looking Into a Deadly New Castle mega Crash…

DE’S NEW CASTLE – The Delaware State Police have launched an investigation into the death of a 33-year-old man who was involved in a terrible motorcycle accident in New Castle

 

The event happened on April 4, 2024, at around 8:03 p.m. A gray 2018 Mazda 3 was involved in a collision with a black Harley Davidson motorbike that was allegedly traveling fast south on South Dupont Highway from Frenchtown Road while not using its lights. The motorbike struck the right side of the Mazda as it was making a turn into a Wawa parking lot at 117 S. Dupont Highway, crossing the southbound lanes.

The motorcyclist was thrown off his bike as a result of the collision and landed in the right lane of traffic. The biker passed away from his wounds in spite of being taken to a nearby hospital in a hurry. Authorities

have not yet disclosed the victim’s identity while they attempt to inform his kin about the unfortunate incident.
