Tiny quantity of marijuana discovered in the vehicle Rashee Rice was operating
According to a police record obtained by WFAA, authorities discovered 10.8 grams (less than an ounce) of marijuana in the Lamborghini that Chiefs WR Rashee Rice was driving.
The charge in Texas is a Class B misdemeanor according to the amount. Class B offenses carry a maximum sentence of 180 days in prison and a maximum fine of $2,000.
At a press conference on Thursday, attorney Royce West acknowledged that Rice was operating the Lamborghini Urus. Rice was connected to both of the fancy cars that were allegedly driven in a street race that ended in a six-car crash in Dallas.
He was renting a Lamborghini from Classic Lifestyle and is currently leasing a Chevrolet Corvette.
According to the police report, all six people in the two automobiles left the scene, leaving behind a number of victims without sharing information or insurance.
In addition to facing punishment from the NFL for breaking the personal conduct policy, Rice is anticipated to face charges related to the collision.

Earlier this month, the wide receiver admitted that he was operating the Lamborghini that was involved in an accident in Texas.
Rashee Rice, a wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, has an arrest warrant out for him on eight felony counts stemming from a hit-and-run incident involving multiple vehicles in Dallas on March 30, the Dallas Police Department said on Wednesday.
Six counts of collision involving injury, one case of collision involving serious bodily harm, and one count of aggravated assault are among the allegations. Wednesday night, the police had not taken him into jail.
At a news conference last week, Rice’s lawyer, Royce West, stated that the 23-year-old admitted to being the driver of the Lamborghini that raced down North Central Expressway beside a Corvette. When Rice lost composure, the Lamborghini struck the cops reported that the Corvette and four other automobiles collided in the median.
On Wednesday night, inquiries for comment from West went unanswered.
The driver of the Corvette, according to police, is Theodore Knox, 21, who is also not in arrest. Knox is charged with the same offenses, DPD claims.
Knox was originally recognized by WFAA as an SMU football player. Officials from the SMU sports department did not promptly respond to messages left for them, and an SMU representative referred inquiries for comments to the DPD.
According to SMU’s online football roster for the 2024 season, Knox is a junior cornerback. Last season, he participated in 11 games.
There will be no fees for the occupants of the two cars.
Police said that two of the four individuals suffered minor injuries and were admitted to the hospital.
Rice will do “everything in his power” to assist the other drivers and passengers involved in the collision, West assured reporters last week.
