Just Now: ”He used To Be A Very Humble Player”, Arkansas Razorbacks Head Coach Lament As Star Is Confirmed…

Paris Patterson, an offensive lineman for Arkansas, uses the transfer portal.

According to Arkansas source Easton May on X (Twitter), Paris Patterson’s entry into the transfer portal yesterday has left the offensive line quite thin. Since the opening of the spring window, Patterson is the sixth Hog to use the transfer portal.

Florida International v Arkansas

Patterson was a three-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite rankings when he was a recruit, however Rivals lists him as a Top 250 recruit at one point. He was the second-ranked offensive lineman after Luke Brown and the tenth-best-ranked recruit in the 2023 class.

Not everything at Arkansas has gone as he had hoped. The 350-pound guy didn’t play much last season, redshirting in the process, and during spring practice, younger players and transfers passed him up on the depth list. As a result, Patterson played mostly with the third team this spring and experienced a decline in snaps.

After the spring game, Patterson announced his resignation along with punter Max Fletcher, running back Isaiah Augustave, and quarterback Jacolby Criswell. Jashaud Stewart, the defensive end, and offensive lineman Andrew Chamblee also formally registered on the web, however they departed the squad before to the spring workouts.

Arkansas now has seven scholarships available after adding Florida State transfer Rodney Hill and former Jacksonville State linebacker Larry Worth.
