Very Depressing: The Kentucky Team recently got a nasty message from…

Former Kentucky Wildcat has a message for Reed Sheppard after his performance against Tennessee

Just now, the Kentucky Wildcats defeated the Tennessee Volunteers in Knoxville, claiming victory in their most significant game of the season.

With this victory, Kentucky was able to lock up a double bye and the third seed in the NCAA Tournament, as well as the SEC Tournament, where they are now ranked as the two-seed.

Reed Sheppard, a freshman, played a major role in the Kentucky Wildcats’ victory over the Tennessee Volunteers. He scored 27 points, making 9–14 field goals and 7–10 three-pointers. It was evident that the Kentucky lad didn’t want to be swept by the Volunteers and that he couldn’t miss in Knoxville. Sheppard filled the stat sheet as usual, pulling down six rebounds, handing out five assists, swatting a shot, and adding a steal.

One former Kentucky Wildcat gave Sheppard some credit for his efforts. Regarding Sheppard’s performance on Twitter/X, Keion Brooks Jr. said, “Aye, chill out @reed_sheppard.”
With an impressive season of his own, Brooks Jr. is averaging 21.2 points per game for the Washington Wizards. The senior is making 39.5% of his three-pointers, a career high. Brooks Jr. had never shot above 30% from outside the arc in a season before this one. The former Wildcat is included in this as an Erving Award finalist.

Sheppard and Brooks Jr. are among the top players in collegiate basketball this year.

The rookie from Kentucky made a great impression in this victory, and we saw from the victory over Tennessee that Sheppard will need to score a lot of baskets if Kentucky is to win the NCAA Tournament.
