Roosters players ‘really sad’ for Angus Crichton after star forward is forced to step away from the game to deal with bipolar diagnosis

 

Following his decision to take a leave of absence from the NRL in order to undergo treatment for bipolar disorder, star forward Angus Crichton has garnered the backing of the Sydney Roosters. There is no timetable for Crichton’s comeback. Crichton was a member of Australia’s World Cup victory the previous year. He will not play in the Roosters’ round one NRL match against the Dolphins on Sunday.
