Remarkably, Courtney Frerichs has succumbed to an ACL tear. The silver medallist from the Tokyo Olympics shared the message on social media in a lengthy statement. While the news of Frerichs’ injuries devastated the fans, Emma Coburn stepped forward to offer her sympathies and support for Frerichs’ mental health.

Frerichs shared a long and emotional message with her fans on Instagram. She explained that she sustained the injury last month when her knee got overextended while performing a water jump, similar to Coburn’s situation. According to the update, the 31-year-old not only tore her ACL but also suffered significant tears in both the medial and lateral menisci, along with several other injuries.
