For over twenty years, Alabama has been the finest college football team. Even so, head coach Nick Saban, who oversaw everything, retired following the 2023 campaign, allowing Kalen DeBoer to take over as head coach of the team. While DeBoer and Saban are not tight, I have nothing against DeBoer. Naturally, with Nick Saban no longer serving as head coach, Alabama will lose players and recruiters.
Crimson Tide football is the biggest thing in the entire state of Alabama. It easily beats everything else, including Aubrun football. Still, even at times, players from Alabama will not choose to play for the Crimson Tide or the Tigers, and on Tuesday, the best wide receiver in the state declined to play his college football in Alabama.
