Following the Premier League defeat at Anfield, Thomas Frank, the manager of Brentford, showered Mohamed Salah, a legend of Liverpool, with admiration.

Mohamed Salah, a prominent player for Liverpool, is praised by Brentford manager Thomas Frank for his outstanding performance against the Bees. Prior to the November international break, Liverpool defeated Brentford 3-0 at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday.

In the 39th and 62nd minutes of the match, Salah scored two goals against the Bees. Following a summer midfield makeover, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has implemented a number of tactical adjustments. The German refers to his revamped squad as “Liverpool 2.0” as they attempt to once more contend with the all-powerful Manchester City.

The Egypt captain is now playing a broader role on the right after Klop adjusted Salah’s position in the starting lineup. The 31-year-old has adjusted to his new position effectively because he now depends more on creativity and teamwork than speed.

Frank asserted (via Liverpool Echo) that Salah is the best player in the Premier League because of his consistency. Says he:

“Mo Salah receives a lot of plaudits, but I’m not sure if it’s enough. He may be the greatest player in the Premier League right now, in my opinion. What a level in terms of goals and assists. He has to be among the world’s best offensive players. Top three, not like top ten.

Through 17 appearances across all competitions this season, the Egypt international has tallied 12 goals and contributed four assists. Despite a minor dip in his quickness and ability to beat opponents, Salah has continued to produce at a high level.

After joining the Reds in the summer of 2017 from Roma, the 31-year-old is only two goals shy of reaching 200 goals for the team. With 322 games, 198 goals, and 83 assists, Salah has established himself as Liverpool’s top goal scorer each season.

Mo Salah has contributed four assists and ten goals to the Premier League this season in 12 games.

According to Football Insider (via Liverpool Echo), the Saudi pro league teams will make a move for Salah in the January transfer window. The Reds have insisted that their most valuable asset is not for sale and that they will not consider any offers.
