Kenyan Drake, a running back, inked a contract with the Green Bay Packers. He joined the practice squad and could be called up soon to support a limited backfield. The 29-year-old stated in a string of messages on X that he was in Green Bay, where the position is seeing an increasing number of ailments. Aaron Jones, a running back, has missed the last two games for the Packers (6-6), owing to a knee injury.

After playing in two games, Drake was cut by the Baltimore Ravens on October 17. On October 31, he was added to the Cleveland Browns practice squad; however, on November 28, he was cut loose. He was a member of the Indianapolis Colts during the 2023 preseason. In 103 games (44 starts), Drake has amassed 3,866 yards and 33 touchdowns in the passing game, as well as 218 receptions for 1,655 yards and eight scores. He has played for the Miami Dolphins (2016–19), Arizona Cardinals (2019–20), Las Vegas Raiders (2021), and Ravens (2022–23).In his seven starts this season, Jones has only managed 66 carries for 245 yards and two scores. AJ Dillon, who has a groin ailment, has taken up the slack in his absence.
