Today, the New York Giants announced the appointment of two new staff members and the advancement of three current coaches.

Mike Kafka, who now serves as offensive coordinator, will also assume the post of assistant head coach. Shea Tierney, the quarterbacks coach, will have the added responsibility of offensive passing game coordinator, while Jerome Henderson, the secondary coach, will coordinate the defence passing game.

The actions take place one day after the Giants hired Tim Kelly, the tight ends coach, and defensive coordinator Shane Bowen, both of whom were Tennessee coaches during the previous campaign. Bullen was the outside linebackers coach and pass rush coordinator for the University of Illinois football programme for the previous two seasons. After spending four years coaching the Cardinals, Bullen brought his eleven years of NFL coaching expertise to the Fighting Illini in January 2023.
