Georgia bulldogs to set to make history in the upcoming super bowl…

In Super Bowl 58 between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs, five Georgia Bulldogs are primed to compete. Super Bowl 58 will be broadcast on CBS and gets underway at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The Georgia Bulldogs have experience competing for titles. For 23 consecutive seasons, a former player from Georgia football has made it to the Super Bowl.

One former Dawg will win a third championship regardless of the winning team. Mecole Hardman, a wide receiver for the Chiefs, wants to win a third Super Bowl. Robert Beal, a rookie edge rusher for the 49ers, is aiming for a third straight championship after winning back-to-back national titles while playing for Georgia.

Let’s have a look at the five Georgia Bulldogs that will be competing for the NFL championship!

Chris Conley came up huge for the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC’s divisional round. He hauled in a clutch catch to help the 49ers beat Green Bay. He did not record a catch in the NFC championship, but could have a large role in the Super Bowl if 49ers star receiver Deebo Samuel aggravates his shoulder injury.

Charlie Woerner plays tight end for San Francisco mostly as a blocking end. He is not a very dangerous receiver, but he will undoubtedly play some plays for the 49ers. This season, Woerner has three catches for 32 receiving yards.

After finishing his career at Georgia with back-to-back championships, Robert Beal has the opportunity to capture a third straight championship in the Super Bowl. As a rookie, Beal tallied five tackles and one sack.

Malik Herring is still getting snaps for the Chiefs. During the regular season, Herring tallied 1.5 sacks and 10 tackles. With three playoff tackles under his belt, the former Georgia standout may have additional opportunities in the Super Bowl given that Chiefs defensive end Charles Omenihu was placed on injured reserve following the AFC championship.

Mecole Hardman, a talented pass catcher for the Kansas City Chiefs, has not played a significant part for the team in the postseason. He has only made two catches for five yards during the playoffs, and against the Buffalo Bills, he fumbled a key pass.

Hardman is aiming to win a third Super Bowl. He began the season with the New York Jets.
