Meet the new gem who snubbed real Madrid,Bellingham and other big clubs for Brighton…..

The signing of some of the most promising young players in the world of football may have been their lucky break during the January transfer window. Amid interest from all around Europe, the Seagulls signed Reading’s Caylan Vickers on a deadline-day contract.

Vickers was put into League One early this season after coming through the Reading academy. When the forward made his first-team debut in August against Peterborough, he immediately made an impression, demonstrating why so many people think highly of him.

After that, the adolescent played for Reading in the EFL for 14 games, scoring one goal in 619 minutes. Vickers was strongly connected to a move to several elite sides, as Reading’s financial difficulties were widely known throughout Europe.

Real Madrid was one of the teenager’s top suitors; according to The Sun, the Spanish team had discussions with Reading in December regarding a £1 million transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu. The La Liga team had laid up a strategy for the forward that involved him playing for their B team and then progressively being incorporated into the first squad, where he would have had the opportunity to work with Vinicius Jr. and Jude Bellingham.

Although no agreement was ever made with any of the aforementioned parties, Celtic and nd were also reported as Vickers’ suitors. The forward chose to sign with Brighton instead, reportedly for a sum of money.
