Sad news:Yankees Linked To Budding Young Ace In Possible Blockbuster Trade

Almost every pitcher who could be available this summer has been connected in some manner to the New York Yankees.

It’s obvious that New York isn’t scared to take a risk. Star slugger Juan Soto was acquired by the Yankees in a major transaction with the San Diego Padres. It appears like the Yankees may make another significant transaction during the offseason.

The Yankees’ starting rotation has to be strengthened right now.

Top free agents like Jordan Montgomery and Blake Snell, as well as trade prospects, have been connected to New York.

According to ESPN’s Jeff Passan, Miami Marlins rising star Jesús Luzardo appears to be one player who could be a trade possibility.

“That’s why Jesús Luzardo’s name continues to percolate among teams interested in a starter,” Passan.

“That’s why Jesús Luzardo’s name continues to percolate among teams interested in a starter,” Passan stated. “After pitching 1 innings with a ERA, the 26-year-old left-hander struck out 208 batters—nearly four times as many as he walked.

With the exception of sensational right-hander Eury Pérez, Miami, under new general manager Peter Bendix, is keeping an ear to the ground on every player.

“Luzardo is almost certainly the most valuable among them, even more than NL batting champion Luis Arráez, and whether it’s the (Boston Red Sox), (Baltimore Orioles.

either of the New York teams, Luzardo would look mighty good in their rotation for the next three seasons.”

Luzardo’s name has been mentioned in trade rumors a lot lately, so the Yankees may want to consider him. Despite his young age of 26, he has demonstrated during the past few seasons that he has the potential to be a team’s number one or two starter.

Although a trade would undoubtedly be expensive, the Yankees still have the farm system to make a deal work. Perhaps the Yankees will make another significant trade soon.
