BREAKING: Leeds United Manager Daniel Farke Has A Misunderstanding With Dutch Forward Crysencio Summerville, Says He Is Not Capable Enough For…

Leeds faces transfer problems with “no way” to prevent Farke’s impending €40 million departure.

Daniel Farke and Leeds United will not be able to stop Crysencio Summerville from leaving Elland Road in the summer as he is headed toward a summer transfer to an elite team.

According to a reputable Dutch reporter, Chelsea is reportedly interested in the winger, who should fetch “around €40 million.”

Under Farke, Summerville has become the team’s main player after Leeds was relegated from the Premier League the previous season. In all competitions, Summerville has 16 goals and 9 assists.

With eight games left in the regular season, Leeds is presently leading the Championship, one point clear of third-placed Ipswich Town and ahead of Leicester City on goal differential thanks to the 22-year-old’s vital efforts.

Due to his play, Summerville has been linked to leaving Leeds. Earlier this month, TEAMtalk exclusively revealed that Chelsea, whose scouts have been closely monitoring Summerville’s progress this season, may be interested in signing the winger.

Summerville pledged to stay at Leeds after the team was relegated last May despite Burnley’s interest, so he is said to be happy there, but TEAMtalk insiders have indicated there’s a fair chance he might depart this summer if a top club comes calling.

Summerville, who is set to begin the last two years of his current deal in the summer, is approaching a critical point in his Leeds career.

And after “developing fantastically” with Leeds in the Championship, Summerville will undoubtedly be at a major club as early as next season, according to Suleyman Ozturk, editor of the Dutch football magazine Voetbal International.

“He is among the best forwards in the Championship,” he declared. Next season, he’ll be at a premier club.

There is no alternative option for him to transfer.

“I hope to see him perform at a better level. The last six months have seen an incredible development in him. On the exterior, he is quick and skilled, but he is also a number 10.

“He should probably cost about €40 million,”

Leeds’ hopes of hanging on to Summerville – as well as other key players including Georginio Rutter, Wilfried Gnonto and Illan Meslier – are likely to hinge on the club’s ability to regain their Premier League status at the first time of asking.

There is a widespread acceptance that second season in the Championship would force Farke to sell some of his stars to ensure Leeds remain within the limits of the EFL’s financial rules.

Summerville, who joined Leeds from Feyenoord in the summer of 2020 at the age of 18, made his Premier League debut the previous season, winning against Liverpool in the 89th minute. This is renowned for being the only Premier League match that Virgil van Dijk has lost at Anfield since joining Liverpool from Southampton in January 2018.
