Ayling’s tenure at Elland Road is coming to an end after seven and a half seasons, one promotion, one relegation, and a couple absolutely amazing goals.

The full-back will be leaving Leeds permanently when his contract expires at the end of the current campaign. He left Leeds to sign a loan with Middlesbrough.

Leeds has said Ayling farewell with the utmost affection, and the team has already uploaded several player tributes on its YouTube account.

Dallas laments Ayling’s exit

Dallas honored the defensive back.

We’ve known for a while that this day will arrive, but it doesn’t make it any easier. I would like to express how enjoyable it has been to

We’ve known for a while that this day will arrive, but it doesn’t make it any easier. We’re sad that you’ve left, but I look back on our time together with happiness and we’ve been through some amazing times. I just wanted to say what a pleasure it’s been to play with you for all these years; we’ve been through it all together. When we step onto the pitch, there’s nobody I’d rather be beside. You’ve been a leader and a true legend. Dallas remarked, “I don’t want to say much more because I’ll get emotional, but you’re a legend and I love you. It’s just sad that it’s ending, but that’s football.”

Dallas’ outrage over this is understandable given that it marks the end of an era.

Ayling is undoubtedly one of Leeds United’s heroes. The club holds Ayling in high regard.

Both his late winner against Wolves and his goal against Huddersfield will be remembered for a very long time.

Ayling will surely go down as a club legend because of his enormous progress, which epitomized what Leeds was all about during the Marcelo Bielsa era.

It’s certain that Dallas won’t be the only man in West Yorkshire who is devastated to see Ayling go from Leeds.
