Sad News: Newcastle top star gets major injury, and might loose the entire season

Newcastle Defender  down with hamstring injury.

Harrison Ashby, a defender for Newcastle, has returned to the North East following an injury sustained while on loan at Swansea.

It’s uncertain, according The Chronicle, if we’ll send him back to Swansea after receiving treatment or summon him back from his loan stint in Wales in January.

Ashby had only started four of the Championship team’s previous twelve league games before to sustaining a hamstring injury. Ashby has made 11 appearances for the team thus far.

The former West Ham standout only joined Newcastle in January in the hopes of becoming a Kieran Trippier successor, but given Tino Livramento’s recent play, he still has a ways to go.

Michael Duff, the manager of Swansea, confirmed his return to Newcastle and the talks between the two clubs regarding his injuries.

“The two clubs are currently speaking, however I’m not entirely sure what the diagnosis is on it. For the meantime, he has returned to Newcastle.

Since he’s their player, they’d like to learn more about the true nature of it. In the end, I believe that he will be unavailable for the next two to three weeks. We’re not really certain where it is until they conduct this investigation.
