It is possible that Juventus may consider selling Matias Soule for around £23 million in January, given that scouts from Premier League teams Newcastle United and Crystal Palace have reportedly visited the Argentine star.
Soule’s possible sale is a part of Juventus’ plan to raise money in order to pursue Teun Koopmeiners of Atalanta, a player whose contract is worth more than £40 million.
Tottenham Hotspur, who is keen to bring the England Under-21 player back to London, is showing interest in Samuel Iling-Junior, another young prospect who may be available for about £13 million.
Gazetta reports that both Newcastle United and Crystal Palace, two Premier League teams, have apparently expressed interest in signing Soule away from Juventus. Juventus plans to use the possible £23 million trade as part of their plan to raise money for further transfers.
With six goals in 13 games, Soule, a 20-year-old forward on loan at Frosinone, has impressed. He does this by cutting in from the right onto his left foot, a move that makes him look like his idol, Lionel Messi.
In a recent interview with DAZN, the 20-year-old stated, “I’m obviously inspired by Messi.” The reason I adore him is that he is also from Argentina. I also enjoyed Eden Hazard’s time at Chelsea and Neymar’s time at Barcelona. I’m a constant attempt to dribble. The rivalry for Soule is getting more intense; he may challenge the skilled players at Crystal Palace, especially Michael Olise in Soule’s favored position on the right, and Miguel Almiron for the Magpies, as well as provide Newcastle some extra quality in the wide areas.
